Iris in ’t Hof is a socially engaged designer working at the intersection of audiovisual-, graphic-, and social design. With a passion for storytelling and a strong sensitivity for human experience, she uses design as a tool to open up space — for reflection, nuance, and connection.
She graduated in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in design from Art Academy Minerva in Groningen, where she followed the offroad design track: a cross-disciplinary path combining time-based and graphic design. This hybrid approach continues to shape her practice today.
Her work often begins with a personal question and unfolds through dialogue, research, and making. Guided by intuition as much as by theory, she creates experiences that invite people to look inward and reach outward. Whether through film, printed matter, or interactive installations, her projects aim to give shape to what’s felt but not always said.
In her eyes, the value of design lies not in the final outcome, but in its ability to create shared space for curiosity, exchange, and collective meaning-making.
